4 little ones of Bastinelli Creations

That we like Knifestore are very excited about Bastinelli Creations is not a secret for most acquaintances. We can't stop talking about designs, versions and new developments of the various knives. We are too much of a fan for that. A special place in our love for Bastinelli Creations is occupied by the small knives from the Bastinelli family.
Small knives with large characters
In addition to the larger and more famous knives such as the Bastinelli RED and the Seperateur there are a number of small knives with different properties. Each knife has been created in a different way.
Bastinelli picoeur
De Bastinelli Picoeur is one of the blades that draws our attention Bastinelli Creations was focused on the past. Also known as the 'fighting scalpel', this blade was developed in collaboration with Doug Marcaida. Doug Marcaida is a world famous master of martial arts in which the knife usually takes center stage. A simple idea of broken scissors. The pair of scissors Doug used to practice with in his youth and which he saw as his first knife. In later life it soon became clear that he had a talent and that the scissors stood for the karambit. The memory of these broken scissors was translated into a blade that quickly found its way to fame.
De Bastinelli Picoeur is an 'inverted' karambit which is made from N690Co steel and weighs only 30 grams. The total length measures 14 cm, of which the blade takes up 4 cm. The knife comes with a kydex holder that is equipped with a kind of peg. Recently this 'suspender' clip has been replaced by a stronger 'UltiClip'. Because of this clip and the small dimensions, the knife can be carried in the most unlikely places. There are examples of people who put the Picoeur behind their tie.

Bastinelli Pika
From the idea of the Picoeur, a second world conqueror was born, the Bastinelli Pika. Just like his older family member, the Pika is the result of a collaboration between Bastinelli Creations and Doug Marcaida. The difference with the Picoeur, however, is that the claw-shaped blade is 100% karambit. The way in which the knife cuts and can be used is therefore partly different from the Picoeur. The Pika is a bit more robust and the blade is a lot wider and less pointed, so the chance of breaking is a lot smaller.
De Bastinelli Pika is made of N690Co steel and is also available in two versions, namely white or black. The total length is approximately 13 cm, of which 4 cm is the cutting edge. The knife has a weight of 36 grams and is therefore slightly heavier than its predecessor. The kydex holder has a clamp that can click around your belt.
Bastinelli Diagnostic
One of the older productions of Bastinelli Creations is the Bastinelli Diagnosis. The Diagnostic is a mini karambit that you can carry with you as a neck knife. The knife is made of N690Co steel and weighs only 23 grams. The total length is 9,8 cm, of which 3,8 cm is the blade. The minimal kydex holder comes with a chain that you can use with a knife as a 'neckknife'. You wear it on or under your clothes and you can pull the blade with one movement.
Bastinelli B.B. Drago
Just like the diagnostic, the Bastinelli BB Drago originally a 'neck knife'. You wear it with a chain around your neck. The BB Drago is derived from the larger Dragotac and the large and smaller Assaucalypse. It looks like a small knife, but looks can be deceiving. The first time you hold the knife you notice that you have the grip of a large knife, and that the blade also feels bigger than it is. The knife is ideal for people who do not want to carry an aggressive knife with them and for people who have to open many boxes for their work, for example. In addition, the knife is just like all knives Bastinelli Creations excellent tactical use.
